NICOLA JARVIS

With Nicola Jarvis

Nicola welcomes you into her golden Loveday Orchard, where we will stitch ripe fruit on the plum tree, work splendid plumage on a goldfinch and decorate leaves and flowers with silk threads, sequins and beads.  Come and immerse yourself in the autumnal stitch fantasy of this opulent Tree of Life motif, worked in a wide range of stitches on a full colour printed ground with sparkling metal purls, shimmering silks and metallic filaments.  Nicola will guide you through fascinating stitch techniques that build to create this beautiful scene of ‘mellow fruitfulness’.

The initial pack includes the full-colour ground fabric measuring 17” x 13”, specialty threads and needles, and will retail at £67.50.

If students wish to purchase Volume 2 ‘Life in Seasons’ Summer/Autumn in addition to the initial pack, as this contains the instructions necessary to work and complete the project, the total pack price will retail at £90.00.

Students will source their own DMC stranded, Perle cottons and de Vere Worsted Wools.  Stretcher bars will be provided to support the project fabric during class and be available to purchase after class in order to finish the project at home.
This is a three day workshop

We request a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Full payment is required no later than 90 working days prior to the workshop date.
